Dayna McNair

Dayna McNair

Associate

Dayna is an avid advocate for her clients and their families, leading with empathy, patience, and consistent communication. Dayna joined Wharton Woods in 2025, to help clients navigate some of the most complex issues they will face in their lives—both legally and emotionally. Dayna cares about more than your outcome; she cares about your process. From the moment you retain until your matter is complete, Dayna and her team prioritize your understanding and involvement.

Dayna received her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2016, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017. After practicing at a prestigious personal injury firm in London, Dayna transitioned to family law in 2018, and now puts her talents to use exclusively in family law. Dayna has represented clients in all types of family law matters, including negotiating separation agreements and marriage contracts;  attending mediations and arbitrations, and litigating a wide variety of parenting, support, and complex financial issues involving trusts and corporations. Dayna knows what it means to be a parent, and prioritizes a child-focused approach to parenting matters, and is equally dedicated to presenting creative, efficient solutions to financial issues.  Dayna’s compassionate approach earns her the trust and confidence of her clients.

When not practicing, Dayna spends her time with her husband, two young children, and Golden Retriever.  In her very minimal leisure time, Dayna enjoys cooking and travelling, and reads at least one novel every week.

Dayna sits on the Executive of the Middlesex Family Law Association, and enjoys volunteering in the community with a number of different social and environmental causes.
